NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is back in action this Monday and Tuesday as they compete at the UNA Spring Classic in Florence, Alabama.
The Bruins enter this week's event after a seventh place finish at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in North Carolina two weeks ago. Sophomore Evan Davis led the Bruins as he finished tie for eighth, which was his second straight top-10 finish this spring.
Junior Daniel Booker continues to lead the team in scoring with a 72.7 average, though Davis is just behind with a 73.0 mark.
This week's UNA Spring Classic is a two-day, 36-hole event with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. It will be held at Turtle Point Country Club, which will play to a par 72 and length of 7,233 yards.
The field features 13 teams, including four OVC teams: Belmont, Jacksonville State, Morehead State, and Murray State.
