MEDIA POLICIES

Credentials

All credential requests (broadcast, print, online, photo) should be submitted through the athletic communications office. Credentials are issued to certified, working media members only. Once issued, credentials are to be carried by the assigned media member only. Advanced notice of attendance is encouraged.

Credentialed media members are permitted to take pictures and acquire video content from designated areas of the Curb Event Center only (behind blue along the baselines, concourse). Pictures and video (outside of mobile devices) taken from the stands is prohibited.

Access clearance to non-designated press areas (locker rooms, dugouts, lighting canopies, etc.) or special requests (additional phone lines, internet access, work space, etc.) at the Curb Event Center and E.S. Rose Park must go through the athletic media relations' office.

Interviews

If you are interested in interviewing a Belmont University student-athlete, coach or administrator, contact the athletic communications office via email. Feature stories require a minimum 48 hours advanced notice in writing.

Please do not contact student-athletes, coaches or administrators directly.

Photographers/Videographers

Photographers and ENG are permitted to shoot along each baseline of the Curb Event Center, behind the designated blue areas. Access to the mezzanine level camera well, suites, and stands must go through the athletic media relations' office. Photographers and ENG are encouraged to shoot from the stands or safely outside the field of play at E.S. Rose Park.

Photographer and ENG work stations will be provided in the Curb Event Center Media Room as well as along the end of press row.

Postgame Protocol

Belmont student-athletes and coaches will be available for postgame interviews shortly after the conclusion of each game. Head coaches are available for one-on-one interviews following their Bruin Sports Network and/or ESPN postgame obligations.

The Belmont locker room is closed at all times. 

Covering Practice

Media members are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend any Belmont University athletic practices, with advanced notice to the athletic communications office. Practices are open, unless otherwise specified by the respective coaching staff.
