What's Bruin
- The Bruins have competed in two exhibition matches for the 2022 season
- Belmont fell 1-0 to Lipscomb University while tying The University of Alabama 0-0
- The Bruins have added eight newcomers while returning 16 to their roster
- In the 2021 season the Bruins went 8-8-1 and 5-3 in the Ohio Valley Conference, falling one game short of the regular season top spot
- Returners Maci Pekmezian and Loren House were the leading scorers in 2021 with four goals apiece
- Returner Anna Sweeney led the Bruins in shots on goal with 13
- Graduated Andrea Leitner was named OVC Goal Keeper of the year and was named to the All-OVC First Team alongside Rachel Vernon
- Pekmezian received an All-OVC Second Team nod
- Allison Brockelman was named to the All-OVC Newcomer Team
- For accomplishing a 4.0 GPA, Andrea Leitner, Avery Nowak, and Anna Sweeney received the OVC Academic Medal of Honor
- 21 Bruins were named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll
- Belmont is entering their first year in the Missouri Valley Conference after over a decade in the OVC
- Belmont joins UIC and Murray State as MVC newcomers.Â
- The Bruins have been voted sixth in the MVC preseason poll, receiving one first place vote and 67 voting points from the league coaches
- Valparaiso was picked as the preseason favorite
- Belmont will compete against Indiana State, Murray State, Southern Illinois, UIC, Illinois State, Missouri State, Valparaiso, Evansville, Drake, and Northern Iowa in the MVC
