Women's Soccer Hosts IUPUI to Start the Weekend

Friday Night Lights for the Bruins against the Jaguars

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Belmont University Women's soccer is set to host the visiting Jaguars of IUPUI Friday, September 2 at E.S. Rose Park.
 
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT. The match will be streamed on ESPN3.

  • Belmont holds a 1-1-1 record moving into Friday
  • The Bruins tied Middle Tennessee 1-1 on Sunday in their third match of the season
  • The sole goal of the match was scored by Anna Sweeney after intercepting the ball from a Middle Tennessee defender
  • The Bruins recorded 13 shots and five saves against the Blue Raiders
  • Sweeney leads the Bruins in goals (2) and shots (7)
