NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University men's and women's track and field teams kick off their indoor season in December as the Bruins announced their 2024-25 indoor schedule on Nov. 10.
The women's indoor track and field team finished sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference last year, with 71.5 points at the championship meet in Chicago, Ill.
The Bruins had seven podium finishers and broke three school records in the distance medley relay, indoor shot put, and 3000m.
The men's indoor track and field team finished seventh at the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships.
The Bruins will open their 2025-26 campaign at Vanderbilt's Commodore Winter Challenge in Nashville on Saturday, Dec. 6. This will be the first of three meets Belmont will compete in at Vanderbilt this season.
Heading into the new year, Belmont will remain in Nashville for the Vanderbilt Invitational, held Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16-17.
The following weekend on Friday and Saturday Jan. 23-24, the Bruins travel to Indianapolis, Ind. for the Crossroads of America Invite, hosted at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center.
On Jan. 30-31, the Bruins will travel to Louisville, Kentucky, for the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational.
Belmont returns to Vanderbilt for the final time on the indoor schedule on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14, for the Indoor Music City Challenge.
The MVC Indoor Championships will take place in Indianapolis, Ind., on March 1-2, followed by the NCAA Indoor National Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., on March 10-11.
