NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the first time in program history, the Belmont men's golf team heads to the Aloha State as they compete in The Pearl at Kalauoa this Wednesday and Thursday in 'Aiea, Hawaii.
WHAT'S BRUIN
- The Bruins are coming off a 12th place finish at the Nassau Intercollegiate two weeks ago. Junior Grey Goff led BU as she tied for 24th place at 224.
- Senior Conner Brown leads the team in scoring with a 71.7 average. He also paces the team in top-10 finishes with two.
- Junior Chris Harpum ranks second in scoring at 71.9. The Kentucky native also has two top-20 finishes.Â
- This week marks the 20th different state that the men's golf program has played an event during the Division I era. The only other time the Bruins have played west of Texas was in 2024 when they competed in the National Golf Invitational in Arizona.
The Pearl at Kalauoa, hosted by Hawaii, is a two-day, 54-hole event, with 36 holes contested Wednesday and 18 holes on Thursday. It will be held at The Pearl at Kalauoa Golf Course, which will play to par 72 and a length of 6,955 yards. The course is adjacent to Pearl Harbor.Â
The field features 18 teams and includes the likes of host Hawaii, Air Force, Baylor, West Virginia, Wichita State, and three former OVC foes: Eastern Kentucky, SIUE, and UT-Martin.Â
Day one play begins Wednesday morning with a 11:30am CT/7:30am HT shotgun start. Live scoring can be found at BelmontBruins.com.
