NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is back on the links this weekend at the Yestingsmeier Invitational hosted by Ball State in Muncie, Indiana.
What's Bruin
- In their first event of the year, Belmont tied for ninth at the Grover Page Classic in Memphis. Senior Conner Brown and junior Chris Harpum posted top-25 finishes, with Brown leading the way as he tied for 20th.
- Brown leads the team in scoring with a 69.7 average. Harpum is right behind with a 70.0 mark.
- Two freshmen earned their first start this past week as a Bruin. Jack Doyle tied for 52nd, while Charlie Spiller tied for 70th place.
This week's Yestingsmeier Invitational, hosted by Ball State, is a two-day, 54-hole event, with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. It will be held at Delaware Country Club, which will play to a par 70 and a length of 6,438 yards.
The field features 12 schools and includes the likes of host Ball State, Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, Northern Kentucky, Wright State, and one other MVC school, Evansville.
