The Knoxville, Tennessee native finished her softball eligibility at Western Kentucky University. Plese completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a concentration in sports. At WKU, Plese started in all 50 games and was a Second Team All-GSC selection. Preceding her time at WKU Plese played at Chattanooga State and South Carolina.

Most recently, Plese was a Graduate Assistant for the softball team at West Georgia University where she earned her Master's in Sport Administration. 

Plese will be coaching the outfield as well as assisting with hitting and baserunning.
