Felicia Bergman

Felicia Bergman begins her second year as Belmont's Assistant AD for Academic Success.  

Bergman brings a wealth of experience to Belmont at several of the most respected academic institutions in NCAA Division I.
 
She spent the last three-plus years at the University of Denver as associate director of academic support services.
 
Among her responsibilities, Bergman organized and administered the academic support programs for seven Pioneer sports, including men's hockey, men's soccer, women's gymnastics, and men's basketball.
 
Denver annually ranked among NCAA leaders in NCAA Academic Progress Rate and Graduation Rate.
 
Two Denver student-athletes under Bergman's mentorship earned NCAA Elite 90 awards in 2024 – Kent Anderson (men's hockey) and AJ Francois (men's soccer).
 
Prior to Denver, Bergman oversaw academic support for the football programs at the University of Tennessee, the University of Delaware, and the University of Richmond.
 
She began her career in academic support at the University of South Carolina Upstate.
 
Bergman is an active member of the National Association for Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A); she served as a panel presenter at the 2024 NACDA Convention in Las Vegas.
 
Bergman earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Colorado State University, before earning her master's degree in student affairs in higher education from the University of Miami, Ohio.
 
She earned graduate certification in human resource management from the University of Richmond and is completing a master's degree in business administration from the University of Denver.
