EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Belmont University women's cross country team finished eighth at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships on Friday morning, held at the Angel Mounds Cross Country Course in Evansville, Ind.
The Bruins scored 212 points, finishing ahead of Valparaiso, Evansville, and Southern Illinois.
Sophie Nicholls led the Bruins, placing 27th with a time of 21:56.84 in the 6K race.
Lilie Fouts and
Clara Crain finished as a pair, earning times of 22:15.56 and 22:15.61.
Rounding out the Bruins point-earners were
Carson Wasemiller in 57th and
Callie Kent in 75th
